Placement and Positioning

Patient position: supine or sitting

Goniometer axis placement: over the lateral epicondyle of the humerus

Stationary arm placement: parallel to the longitudinal axis of the humerus pointing toward the acromion process

Moveable arm placement: parallel to the longitudinal axis of the radius pointing toward the radial styloid process

Normal ROM

Flexion: 0-150°

Extension: 150-0°
