Placement and Positioning

Patient position: supine with towel under humerus or sitting

Goniometer axis placement: on the olecranon process of the ulna

Stationary arm placement: perpendicular to the floor

Moveable arm placement: parallel to the longitudinal axis of the ulna pointing toward the ulnar styloid process

Normal ROM

0-90°
