Placement and Positioning

Patient position: sitting with forearm resting on a towel on the table and hand over the edge of the table

Goniometer axis placement: over the ulnar styloid process

Stationary arm placement: parallel to the longitudinal axis of the ulna and Clinician stabilizes the forearm

Moveable arm placement: parallel to the longitudinal axis of the fifth metacarpal

Normal ROM

Flexion: 80°

Extention: 70°
